Default P0343 code after z06 cam install?

I installed my Z06 cam today and my truck is throwing the P0343 - Cam position sensor high input code. It starts up, idles and drives fine but it keeps throwing the code. Any ideas?

That means your truck isn't a z06. lol. jp

A quick google search says that its the cam position sensor.

Does anybody know if this is the same one that the LS1 uses? I have an extra one from my old LS1 sitting in my garage.

I swapped in my spare cam sensor from my LS1 and it didn't help. What else could be causing this.
