New pcm, but does it have the correct operating system for your truck?

Do you have a scan tool to monitor the 02 sensor functions?

Where did the PCM come from?

Pcm is from a gm wrecking yard here in cali... when they sold it to me it came off a 04 tahoe... told me everything was compatible unless they was lying

Wait now that u mention it... I was reading that it might have different operating system and could throw off different codes LOL cause its for a tahoe .. i thought they were all the same as far as operating systems lol read this on gm trucks

and i quote " About the only way to use a PCM from another year is to have it reflashed with the program for your year and engine, and if you want your options to work, it must be flashed to your exact VIN."

This is why I mentioned it. I have seen issues like that before. For example, My Diesel has 2 different operating systems. If you use the wrong one, you get a MAF performance code.
