At one time, I thought I saw somebody selling off road pipes for a 6.0L LQ4. But I can't find it any more...
I think they would still have the two separate pipes all the way to the muffler. I think they were listed as "export only" or something like that...
I cleaned my kitties.
The weird thing is - clean cats smell more than dirty ones.

That thing has 2 front pipes with 2 separete cats to a dual inlet muffler, only thing needed is to gut the cats[ cut them out, knock the honeycomb out and weld back in] or cut them out and have custom pipes welded in their place, if no emissions cops where you live, do the latter.
Or spend tons of $ for no reason to buy orp or have someone make new front pipes.

Well, you see.. I, uh, wanted 3" pipes
My last recourse will be cleaning 'em, but that still requires welding.
On the Y thing -- see I don't have a muffler
I replaced with a muffler simulator from STS

Well, I broke down and got dangerous today. I equiped myself with a welder and was gonna gut the cats. After 3 hours, I've decided that cats aren't so bad and just pried the passenger side rear flange back into position.
It looks like the tranny x member doesn't give enough clearence to get the pipe off the front flange if you leave the manifold bolted up. I suppose that I could take of the manifolds, but if I'm doing that, they aren't going back on. I did learn that there are only two pry spots worth a nickel on the passenger side
Looks like I'll be waiting until the 408 build up to gut the cats.
