National Drivetrain is a fairly good size Auburn ditributor, but is not a master distributor for Eaton, that is why they push the Auburn more. The Eaton is the all around better diff, even when compared to the pro series in most industry people's opinions. That being said the Auburn is a very good diff and has its own benifits. The cones dont wear out as fast as clutches from abuse, they are a little quiter overall in operation, and now they have the exchange program which is a big plus- almost like a 3 year abuse warranty. I have had a couple of Auburns in street vehicles and was very happy with them, and never had any noise or peg-leg problems. I am pretty sure you will be happy.

Hmmm.... I was wondering why National Drivetrain was pushing a LESS expensive carrier. He didn't even think I would need the Auburn Pro when I told him I wanted to have a fun with it on the street, and take it to the track once a month. Either way, he seemed sincere in his recommendation of the Auburn HP series. I love that exchange program. I am doing the work myself, and it will take what, 6 hours? Six hours plus another 120 bucks, even if it went out once a year, isn't bad to me. I just seems that people either love or hate them. Hopefully, I will love it.
