Default Long Tubes or Transgo?

Ok, I have some money and have been saving up for a Transgo, but I just saw the deal on long tubes through TSP. Should I go ahead and get the Transgo with 100% TM removed or get the long tubes? If I get the headers I want to get the uncoated version with the Y pipe. Let me know some comments, I'm still trying to decide which to go with.

I would go headers think you would see a better gain. I think there is only 100.00 difference in the coating might as well get it now.

Also would I be able to install the headers and y pipe myslef? If so I would have enough to get them coated.

headers, your not making enough power yet to have to really worry about the tranny.

no worry on the tranny. Looks like if your not runnin the off road pipe you are gonna need some exhaust work not for sure on that though.

I was thinking about getting the y pipe as well. How much fabrication would be needed to run them? I have a guy here that did my exhaust that will probably give me a deal if I only have to weld the headers to the y pipe and bolt the y pipe up to the converters.

I think I'm gonna go with the headers while they are on sale, I can always get the Transgo later on. Thanks for the input guys. Hopefully I can get a set ordered this week.

Dude, I wanna know the same thing. I'm whoring off your post. I've been putting off doing a transgo/servo on my truck a long time. Then I saw this header deal, so I'm wondering if it should put it off even longer. I think I have a lot of power left on the table running stock manifolds, but at the same time my shifts suck beause of the converter. Ahhhh, what do I do?!?
