Default once again another transgo question!!!

i've been searching the forum for info on the the transgo shift kit and waht else to replace while im in there. there is just so much stuff out there it is hard for me to make sence of it all. so i decided to make a post just for me!!

im have a billet (super) servo installed already, and a trailblazer stall will be installed at the same time as the shift kit.

what are some other things i might need to add?

i heard about a metal accumulator, where do i get one of them at?

please help i want to get these parts ordered so i have them intime for the install!!!

Thanks everyone

I believe you can get metal accumulators at the dealership.

what should i drill my holes on my separator plate. should i leave them on the smaller holes or should i bump some holes up to bigger ones? i think i will drill the 1st 2nd shifts at the smallest setting which is .082 because i have a billet servo and i will most likely be putting in 2 washers.

what about the 2nd 3rd shift?

What? I thought you only drilled one hole, then decided how many spacers you wanted. Can some one explain that better? How many holes need drilling? Do you use washers on more than one hole?

My situation is this. Transgo, 1-2 vette servo, 3-4 billet servo. I also Have a westers tune.

I want it firm, but not crazy firm. I was told to drill one hole with one washer. Is that right for me? ( I was also told to lower the line pressure via tune)

I wouldnt put in 2 washers in will bang 2nd gear way to hard. I didnt and wouldnt install any as it should snag a mean 2nd gear. You get these things shifting too hard ya start breaking things. My opinion of course

Keep in mind that the TransGo kit is based on you having the stock servos, not the Corvette or billet versions. I wish I hadn't drilled out the 1-2 hole at all - even w/the Corvette servo my 1-2 still snaps harder than I like at low throttle. It does feel nice at WOT, but the regular around town driving I do gets old with the jerky nature of my 1-2 shift (holes drilled per the instructions and 0 washers BTW). Although it may mean dropping the valve body again, I would suggest leaving the holes alone. If it feels good enough when you have it back together then you are set. Otherwise, you still have the option of drilling the holes larger. You just can't go the other way. I am almost ready to buy a new seperator plate and dropping the valve body on mine. just some food for thought.
