Okay my results of many "Free Mods"

Well I got bored today and did the following...
TB Coolant Bypass
EGR Tube hack down
EGR Restrictor
Removed Plate under open filter
I have no SES lights from the EGR restrictor, I drilled a 1/8" hole to begin with and hopefully that is large enough. I got some sheet gasket and made my own for it. Need to drive for a while tonight to see any concluisve difference.
The TB is a bit cooler to the touch now...if that makes a diff or not who knows. The 1/4" ID in and out brass fitting was $1.10 at my home away from home...HOME DEPOT. lol
That air box plate...well I did not notice any power differene with it off. I did suck up a TON of bugs so I shook out the filter and put the plate back in. This has been off for a few weeks and decided to post my thoughts on it here. As Hodgee said it is like a "street vacuum"! hahaha.
So far it SEEMS throttle response is better, that's really all. Maybe from idle to 2500rpms. I need to get an unbias opinion on it so I'll get my Pops to drive it and see if he can tell a difference. Ah well, I will get his opinion and toss it up here.
Later all!

what are you talking about, only 2-5 hp gains. i got like 50 man, my 1/4 mile et's drop by half a sec or more. i felt like i had a small shot of the funny gas in there....
only joking, seriously tho, i did feel like i got better thottle response. seemed so anyway. only mods i had at the time were flowmaster catback and k&n drop in filter. also, i hacked the crap out of the stock air tube when i did mine. but as they say, every small bit helps, even if it is mental..

I got an SES light today from the 1/8" hole. I drilled it out to 3/16"...hopefully that will be all it needs.
Will that SES light reset itself or do I need to AutoTap it?
Thanks!
