Default Okay got my 130A alt in...

Well the stock belt won't work, trust me I tired not shell out $22 for the new one but had to. I got a Goodyear belt from "The Zone" LOL.

Anyway the install is pretty straight foreward, pull old wuss 105A by taking out 2 bolts, disconnect battery wire, and voltage regulator. Use a hammer to persuade the two brass looking rivits that where the alt goes inplace for a easier drop in.

So with my stock crank pulley and stock alt pulley I now have over 14V at idle with the A/C on 5, fans blasting, and the headlights on!

Moral is... good mod for ~$100 all said and done.

That is correct. I just called them directly from their number on the auction listing. They ship UPS (the sloooooooooow shippers) so it took me like 10 days to get it!

i too just installed the 130 alt. from the ebay guy. it was a breeze to install but the belt was too short. BUT,,, since i have a whipple supercharger, it has an adjustable pully to manually tighten or loosen the belt. i was just able to move the pully over some to give me some more slack. piece of cake.

Is there a part number or something so I know which exact one to look for?
Thanks

You will need more than 130. I have almost the same set up. I had to get a 200 amp. Even then I had to have my idle raised abuot 125 rpms to make the alt produce the right voltage at idle. And that is with a overdrive alt. pulley!

so to make it right, i would need to add a overdrive alt pulley, plus a 200 alternator.. wow.. i guess i can find power other than e-fans for now..

when this stock alt goes, i will try that 130 amp with the currect setup i have to see if it helps out with my voltage at idle trouble..
