Mobil 1 and a PF59
Every 3k or 3 months - whatever comes first.
I have used Mobil 1 in everything I have owned
for years and never have had a oil related failure.
Additionally - everything I changed to the Mobil 1 from the OE oil
I always had an increase in oil pressure - always

Has anyone honestly ever had oil related failure in anything? When i was a boat mechanic we changed oil every 100 hours. Thats 100 hours of 5000-5500rpms on average. Thats alot of abuse, and ive never seen failure due to oil. The old Cris Craft fords were known for spitting rings and flattening cam lobes. But thats fords for ya.

amsoil have the 2 stage filtration for our trucks sorry about the bang could't resist

I've been using Neo Synthetic race oil in 0w-5 since my car was new 5 years ago. I don't use any type of spin-on cartridge filter but a racing unit that flows 45gpm and filters down to 8 microns with no by-pass. It's a depth filtration type filter used in racing. Because of the way it filters it's not necessary to change the element out every oil change, but every other oil change. You do have to drain the oil from the filter housing when you change the oil. Neo Synthetic has other oils in different viscocities. The 0w-5 race oil will cost you about $10qt or $35 per gallon. You could go with their race grade oils and really stretch out the oil drain intervals.

I too run 10 30 valvoline
when I worked at a machine shop it pretty much sold me on valvoline
because of the looks of the engines and how clean they were
I would also not have a problem running mobile 1 or castrol
some of the dirtiest engines, heads, etc ran havoline or quaker state
