Just got back from the salvage yard... couldn't find the V8 motor mount brackets so I'm going to have to buy new. Will the 2wd V6 passenger side work? Or do I need both sides?

These are the last part(s) I need for the swap... any input would be appreciated

I found a set of mounts from a v8 junkyard truck, back when i swapped mine from v6 to v8. Instead of using both brackets from v6.

Found one 2wd that didn't have an engine. Removed both mounts with a big smile on my face. Then I thought... maybe I better check the VIN. Sure enough it had a W (v6) FML lol.

Somebody tell me the 2wd V6 passenger side works and save me $50

Hey Buddy - now its "MY" time to help you out!!!

Yes the 2WD V6 Passenger side motor mount WILL WORK. I will attempt to attach a pic of the old ones I removed from the 2WD truck and the new one I bought. the only reason why I had to buy a new one was because I broke the bolts inside the threads and did not want to have to drill them out. see for yourself. Good Luck!

Im putting a 2004 6.0 in my 1999 single cab but i have the harness from the 6.0 would everything plug right in and work ik i have ro change gas pedal but would the harness work with all ly gauges or do i have to send my harness to ger made up for the 99 silverado single cab

No, a 03-07 classic harness will not bolt in and work with a 99-02 chassis. There are some differences in the wiring under the fuse box.
