Default NV3500 swap to 700r4

Pretty easy swap. The crossmember location is exactly the same. Only a little elongation of the mount holes was needed. The replacement flywheel and spacer work perfectly also. As soon as the driveshaft is finished being made, I'm taking it to the track to see what kind of difference it makes. I predict it'll be faster ( no fighting to change gears).

It's not secret the nv3500 blows, but you ditched it for an r4? I have one of each of those trannys and I'd never make that swap. Let us know how it comes out though.

This 700r4 is unlike most...It's got the best of the best parts in it and has no thrust washers...all torrington bearings. Plus everything and anything that could be hardened is. All alto red eagle clutches and kolene steels. Hopefully it'll be able to handle everything I plan to throw at it.
