Ok if you guys say so. LOL. I get paid in 2 days. I need some marine 42 lb injectors. Im thinking about going with the OBX headers so I can pass the visual inspection here in TX. Going to run an electric cutout and then a quiet muffler. The drone and loudness now kills me sometimes and attracts attention.

Oh and I really need to figure out this whipple install. I have like 2 bolts that came with the whole thing. I tried calling whipple for like an install kit but they have not called back. Grrrr.

The OBX's have resonators. They are probably almost as quiet as stock manifolds except when your under load and going up a hill with the TC locked you can hear a lot more pinging. They are going to hit the passenger side frame though but mine only rattle against it when its cold and when your turning sometimes.

I dint notice any power diffrence when I put on the OBXs but I havent really tested on a dyno or strip.

it looks like you are going with the whipple in my opinion with full bolt ons and a bigger cam and tq convertor you will have a completely different truck that you will love but whatever you do a fast truck turns more heads than a typically fast car and leaving a car standing is a great feeling
