Nitrous is like a hot chick with an STD. You want to hit it but it could be dangerous. Its also addictive, just dont go over 100 shot untill you know what your motor is thinking.

The 5177 is the dry kit I use. Just install the nossle before the maf and the computer will add the extra fuel that is need. No tuning should be needed if use a 100 shot or less, but if you have a HPP3 DO NOT use performance tuning.

How do you spray before the MAF if you have a K&N?
I guess I could re-locate the MAF to right in front of the TB and fab a tube up and just install the nozzle in there

I plumbed mine into the metal end of the filter. You do have to be carefull though, if you get the nozzle too close to the mafs it will freeze it and wig your truck out and the tranny will not shift properly untill it thaws out.

Did that happen to your truck? How do you make sure it isn't "too close"?
What is "too close" anyway? Would 6 inches away be fine? That's why i was thinkin of making a custom intake tube and relocating the MAF.
Hmmm...

I relocated my MAF. Six inches is the minimum safe distance. They also say you should de-screen your MAF but have never gotten a good answer as to why.

Yea, 6" is the min safe distance. I was always right on the border with the filter that came with the kit. I know have a s&b (powershot type) filter. Although the overall filter is longer the place where I inserted the nozzle is closer to the meter. I engineered a longer tube to the filter that puts the nozzle about 10" from the meter and it works great now.
