Default Nnbs: 4.3 to 5.3

I've been looking and searching for a while, and I can't find answers. I want to go from my 4.3 to 5.3. Can I use my stock trans? Do I need a different converter? And what years can I use the motor/wiring from? Everything I've found was for NbS or obs. I don't want to sell the truck. I've already started collecting parts for an sas. Don't know too much about the interchangeability on the newer Chevys. Looking for 300-375 Hp, mostly more torque. What do I need besides motor, wiring, PCM, intake tube and Maf? It will be getting a rebuild before its in, but I searched summit and couldn't find anything for the ls truck engines(as far as a rebuild kit) any insight?

I saw that, but mines a nnbs. I wasn't sure if anything was different between NbS swaps and nnbs. What year motors can I use?

You need to forget piecing something together and go hit a salvage yard and buy a complete low mileage pull out. 08-12 are the only years you can use for your swap. You can change the bellhousing and torque converter and keep your existing transmission. The engine harness and pcm/tcm need to be the exact year model your truck is to avoid beating your head against the wall chasing gremlins. Get the exhaust front to back outta the donor.

Or save yourself the frustration downtime and cash and trade it and buy a v8 then mod it. You'll be money ahead unless you can find a donor truck to rob all the odds and ends off of.

I've already spent too much on it to trade in for a new truck. I thought I could use my current PCM/tcm with a tune
