which nitrous kits ara you running

i'm sure if you look around you might can piece a kit together for cheaper than buying the whole thing. bottles are expensive tho. so definantly try to find a used one.

i have the NX kit and recomend it. i have sprayed as much as a 100shot on top of 9psi(stock 6.0). most say 125 is a safe shot, once you upgrade your fuel system and start monitoring it closely i'd say a 150/175 is prety safe still.
you can find a basic kit used for $300 or less, i got mine for $525 with a heater, window switch, gauge, jets and pills.

Yeah the NX kit is the best kit available on the market. Just their entire setup is a setup above the Nitrous Oxide Systems' kits. I have used a NOS kit in the past as was my first time using nitrous. It was good but their openers are not the greatest, heaters aren't very exact, etc. I'd take a cheap NOS kit but my choice is NX.
Hell my DMax will have an NX kit on it...after I get some big injectors in it.

I have a BigKID brand kit.
I used pieces and parts to build mine. I have a Luxfer bottle, NOS highflo valve, generic braided line, NOS powershot solinoid, and ??? nozzle with a .052 jet. That comes out to about a 100 dry shot.

They make kits?
I've always assembled pieces and as far as solenoid design goes they are identical from manufacturer to manufacturer. They only real difference is the size of the solenoid magnet, plunger and internal orafices. If you compare a SuperPowerShot to a standard NX the NX out flows it. If you compare a NOS Cheater to the NX standard the Cheater out flows it. All smoke in mirrors ... just marketing games ... like TNT systems makes "more" power than the rest ... hmmm, how is that possible ... do the same principles of physics apply?
For 100 hp you shoould be fine with NOS, NX, TNT, Nitrous works, after all they are really about 80% the same... only proprietary components are bottle valves and nozzles.

im running a n.o.s. 5177 kit. it is made for the ls1 f-body, but it will work fine on the trucks too. whatever setup you have just remember that you need to keep good bottle pressure and to use as many precautions as you can.{w.o.t. switch, fuel pressure switch..ect.} and dont get to carried away with the big h.p. shot, be somewhat conserative. unless you like buying new transmissions and such.
