Default New Whipple...

I was looking at the whipple site last night and noticed they have new setup for 04/05 gm 5.3 and 6.0.
http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com/...sp?ProdID=1144

claims to be liquid intercooled-with fuel!!!!
there is alot of anti-radix stuff in there too, but this might be an improvement over their previous setup.

They are great SC's for stock and slightly modded applications, but you find a whole lotta bugs when you go to alot of modding and high boost.

That is actually a good and fiesable process for a cooler intake charge but there are still some holes in thier story. Looking at the picture, the aux injectors are still on the boost side of the compressor. Although I agree with the stock intake contributing to uneven cylinder flow, their attempt to slam the radix is totally misguided. I am sure the lower intake on the Radix flows more even that the stock intake simply by design. Maybe BlownChevy can give us a little more tech info on this. Also the "Click to see the true air fuel comparison." and "Click to see the new Whipple air intake system." do not have hyperlinks assoiated with them on the page I am looking at, do you guys see any?

Whipple makes a good blower, but thats it. I bet there are having a really hard time selling blowers now at that price, especially with all the turbo systems coming onto the market. I wouldn't be suprised if they never sold another blower kit ever. maybe thats a little harsh.

Ummm, they put down the Radix deisgn, but thier kit for the new Ford truck is very similar And how can you achieve better fuel distribution spraying though a dry manifold? Doesnt Kennebells website show just the opposite? Looks to me like they got lazy and instead of really putting forth a good effort for us chevy guys they just threw this together. There was also a time they would have told you never to spray anything through the compressor. I wish I had the money to start over,I wouldnt be running one.
