Whipple needs to look at the picture above.

Why is it so hard for them to do something like that. Until they take notes on what Ryan has done then I think the Radix kit has the upper hand.

Personally for me and I'm sure for others, I can't afford the down time on my truck (driven daily) to fab up a custom IC, and ditch those band-aid "craptronics". Don't they make an IC setup for the 8.1. Why is it so freakin' hard to do the same for the smaller motors?

I love the twin screw design, but...(and I hope Whipple reads this) I will NEVER buy one of their kits for my daily driven, main mode of transportation truck, if it isn't IC. With today's technology, there's no excuse. None at all!

Ryan, just sell them your freakin' set-up, so the rest of us can enjoy the power! Or come down here and put one on mine!

That's kind of an ignorant statement. It's like saying Sony car stereos will always be better than Eclipse car stereo's. At one time, (back with the Sony C-90) Sony had the most kick *** deck on the market. Now, Sony radios suck nuts (no offense to anyone, just my professional opinion / experience) and Eclipse builds one bad *** sounding radio (actually more than one, but you get the point)

Another example would be, Nebraska will always have a better football team than University of Oklahoma. At one time (several years ago) that was true, now Oklahoma is going to stomp the crap out of them once again...

Looks like Whipple is starting to suffer from all the competion. Cant wait for Kenne Bell to come out with their incooled set up. And for Magnacharger/Eaton to come out with their twin screw

I think that the Radix is better because it is more complete. Strap an intercooler on and whipple has a new customer!

I re-read that article, because I was still a little stupefied that there's no IC with thier kit. They are correct that a phase change of the fuel will create a big temp drop in the intake charge. Nitrous is very similar to this. However, using that reasoning, I could thoerectically put a twin screw on a 5.3 with a carburetor, with ALL the fuel spraying through the blower and have no need/benefit for an IC. I don't think so. That air is still going to be hella hot. Plus, are thier rotors designed for fuel to go through it, like a typical carb'd roots setup?

edit: I'd like to add something. Our intakes are not designed to flow fuel. Even if they claim it will be fully atomized, **** happens and some of it might not be, and then you'll have puddling in the plenum.
