Thumbs up new toys for the truck

New stuff from Crane Cams for the truck.

Finally got all the parts in and had the chance to install everything last weekend.

The cam in a 216/224 551/551 with a 115 LSA

Dual spring with titanium retainers and hardened spring seats

The rocker arms are the new quick lift rockers that use the 7.25 push rod.

And the Powermax computer tuner.

Also used the new cam spring installer. That is a great tool it does both springs at one time.

So far everything is working great. Not real sure about the computer tuner. I think they could have done a lot more with it.

Jeez it looks like you made Crane's fiscal year!

Nice mods. Did you have any other programmer before the Crane programmer? I haven't heard too much about it.

It's running in a 4.8 and i had the predator programer before.

the crane needs a little more adjustabilty to be on par with the predator but they are working on it.

Going to spend some time on the dyno with both of hem and see if one makes more power that the other.

then i will see if some one can make more with LS1 edit.

Send all of the information to crane so they can make some adjustments.

Sorry but I didn't make cranes fiscal year.

Just doing some testing for them

hey i have a question, if you have an asp pulley on the crank and you are running a double roller timing chain, does everything fit that was or do you have to have some of the pully miled, and also, are you running that cam with any advance or stright up? youll have to let me know what kind of idle it has. thanks
