Default New ram-air installed!

For those of you who wanted updates on my new Ram, here's the newest version of the ram-air system I made. For the others who don't know me, yes it's a Dodge! I was asked to post updates on the competition (namely me now) after I sold my Silverado and bought the Ram.

It's part of an intake system designed for 87-93 5.0 Mustangs made by March Performance. New, the intake system sells for $175, which is the scoop, 5" duct, airbox and filter. I got the entire intake off of Ebay for $45, it's used but who cares, it was in real good shape and I only wanted the scoop and duct.

Yep, a nice SOTP gain, seems like more low end. Hemi owners claim that Speed Density system on the Hemi's can compensate for the additional air from a CAI. Since I'm still using the stock air box and only relocated the air inlet to outside the truck instead of right by the radiator, I don't think I'm getting any more air. I'm just getting cooler air and the IAT sensor does compensate for air temps, cooler air makes more power, that's a fact. I also relocated the scoop from under the lower bumper valance to behind it this morning. I like it better this way, really didn't like th escoop hanging down like it was.
