Question new question

ok, i misunderstood my brothers question. he wants to know what it will take to swap a carburated 350 into his 95 k1500 with a 5.7. will it affect the tranny at all, if so what needs to be done to get it to work properly.

thanks

The only difference you are talking about is really swapping the intake/tbi setup for an intake/carb setup. you definitely will have some issues, because you need to disconnect the TBI - the tranny might be an issue because it could be using signals from the TBI connectors.

Perhaps someone here could point you in a better direction.

eldebrock makes an intake manifold that is already to go for the swap.
You still use your old TB for the TB plate and sensors, but the injectors are at the end of each intake runner. I think the only thing that you need after that is a larger fuel pump.
