Ill get some pics here shortly. Mine came out of a 2000 2001 HD,Come to find out this one came off a 2005 2006 caddilac SUV its drive by wire diffrent fly wheel. Factory specs were something like 345 HP 380 LB TQ. Got a steal on this motor guy didnt know what he had it came fully dressed so just have to change cam springs injectors. Im worried the tune will be off since this motor supposbly has higher compression and what not. Will i need to retune if this turns out to be a higher compression 6.0????

It is the higher compression 6.0. A re-tune might be a good idea

I think your cam you were running on the LQ4 may have been part of the reason you weren't too happy with it. That cam would be a decent all around cam for a 5.3, for a 6.0 it should have had plenty of grunt down low, but probably fell off a bit up top. I think you'll like a TR/TSP 224 or 228 a lot better. Best bet would be to get Pat G. to spec and grind you one.
