Default New injectors

I have a 2001 4.8 5spd with 114,000 on the stock injectors. Will i see any gains from new injectors? Maybe higher psi, although im n/a with a tune, or do the stock ones do just fine?

Thanks,
Derek

If you haven't had them cleaned then do that, it will help you alot.

Default Pita??

Is it a pain to clean them. I usually run 93 and octane booster and injector cleaner once a month. I know its not like a thorough cleaning but is it really worth it to take them out and clean them?? Is it a pain to do?

Thanks,
Derek

I've never thought a couple of bottles of injector cleaner was too much of a pain in the *** to do....you could take 'em out and have them sonically cleaned but as long as you run a bottle of Sea Foam through them once in a while they're probably as clean as they'll get

Default Aighty

I was jw about manually cleaning them, but if the injector cleaner or sea foam works, then im in good shape.

Thanks,
Derek
