Default new hot parts from cmotorsports plus new charge pipes too

the new hot parts fit great, no driveshaft issues, no wg issues, banks stay seperate till the turbo, 3.5" down pipe, all 321 stainless, 1/2" flanges, vband clamps. lots of improvements.

the turbo got pushed forward about 3/4" and my charge pipes didn't work so well anymore so i redid all of them. i put the intercooler down low and got the air filter off by itself in the stock location. i should be able to build some kind of barrier in that corner to help it draw cool air. i also got rid of the mass air.

i have not run it yet. still have some loose ends and still have to make some exhaust but i did get a lot done today. i am also about 1/2 done with the meth injection too.

Sam at cmotorsports told me he is gathering parts for 10 kits. he hopes to have everything on the shelves for 10 kits other than the turbo in a week or so. he really seems serious about it. i think all kits will have this header and down pipe. he is including some nice electric fans with the kit and a prety big heat exchanger.

Could you please keep us posted about the other kits. If he is serious about making them and they are resonably priced I may buy one and hang onto it till I reach the limits of the STS kit then slap it on.

I can't wait to see your results man.

how did you get rid of the MAF? Why did you move the Intercooler? No more A/C??? Sorry I dont know much about turbos, so sorry for the dumb question but why do you need an air to water intercooler and a heat exchanger???

He is using Megasquirt and can tune like Speed Density but better so no more MAF.

The air/water intcercooler uses a heat exchanger. He is just using amuch better one now.

i am running a stand alone pcm and dont need the maf. i moved the intercooler because it didn't fit so well where it was and i wanted to get the air filter off by itself where i could partition it off. i took the ac off like a year ago it doens't have to come off for this kit to fit.

dont need an air to water intercooler, it is just one way of doing it.
