Default New Generation Truck Engines 6.2L?

Anyone heard what the new generation truck powerplants will be? I ran across some 6.0/6.2 photos of them. I know they played with the idea of 6.2 engines. Anyone heard anything?

Look at the shape of the combustion chamber. Anyone heard of a new head derivative? Anyone seen a chamber like this before?

Is that for a V10 the head in the background has 5 ports?

V-16! LOL That would be awesome.

That head looks like a V-10 head. Definatley at least 5 ports! Also it doesn't have the conventional "cathedral" port shape.

That link to the Colorado didn't work for me. Where exactly did you get this stuff and what are you doing with it? Are these engines complete? Those blocks look aluminum too, is that true? This is some strange stuff you have there, I'm very curious as to where/why/how you got it. Good find!

look up gm concept v-10 on google to explain this head (in back ground- look at the five ports) Holy crap.

Try this thread for the Colorado.

As for the pictures. someone contacted me knowing I deal with alot of GEN III parts and he said his friend had some 6.0/6.2 blocks and wanted to know if i was interested. I was like WTF? 6.0/6.2? So I grilled him and he sent me pictures of the items.

That head is prolly from the inline 5 cylinder engine. That's an interesting block though, I've not heard of the 6.2.
