Yellow-I got the pulley from Whipple and believe me, it was like pulling teeth getting it from them. I have bought several pullies from them over the last couple years and it is always a hassle. When I ordered the 2 3/4 they said "the smallest we make is 3 1/8" I said thats funny, I already have a 2 7/8, now quit bs'ing me and send me a damn pulley !

As far as the IAT conversion, I can try to get some pics when I pull the intake, maybe in about a week. I just drilled a hole in the EGR blockoff plate and put a rubber grommet in there and used a regular GM IAT sensor like from a TPI or LT1 (the sensor on these trucks is built into the MAF) You just have to snip the 2 wires at the MAF that go to the factory IAT and extend them over to the intake manifold. This puts the sensor directly in the path of incoming intake air which is great on a forced induction application.

What? The smallest they told me they had was a 3.5". That's just not cool I'm giving them a call right now.

So they do make smaller than 3.5" for the single belt seup? I guess they would to up the boost on their 8.1L kits... hmmm this could be easy

I called again today and now the guy told me they had a 3.25 inch but the other day the smallest he said he had was a 3.5? I think they just dont want to sell the smaller pullys for some reason?

If the 8.1 superchargers is the same as our supercharger you can get a pully all the way down to a 2 1/8. Thats what I did when I found out.

ya it's the same compressor - 2300ax Lysholm. I wouldn't go 2 1/8 though maybe a 3" pulley (16psi)

What is the stock size on the 8.1L kit? Although I could almost bet that it is the same bolt pattern, I am not 100% positive. ...Just wondering so I don't have to go through the run around. I could just say I need a replacement pulley for the 8.1L kit.

Maybe I could explain my setup and get a pulley for free. I could be advertising the potentials with their setup. ..well okay, so I ditched everything they did except for brackets oh well

I don't know why it is so hard to get them to ship a pulley. The last time I ordered one they said I had to sign a waiver before they would ship. I had to give them a fax number so they could send me the form, but they never did. They are definitely hard to deal with.

You guys should contact ASP and have them make the pullies you want. I sent them the lower pulley on my 2 belt Whipple setup and they made a blueprint from it then made one to my size specs (7 1/2) They told me they can make anything you would want. If I end up wanting a 2 1/2 upper thats what I am going to do.

Ryan, yeah if those yay-hoos at Whipple had a clue they would at least look at your truck and maybe get some ideas. It is sad that they have such a good blower but the rest of the package including customer support sucks.

The stock pully for the 8.1 is a 2 3/4. I called today and they said the bolt pattern is the same but the offset is different but I'm thinkin about ordering one just to see.
