Here's the combo:

All in all a good day at Ol' Carlsbad. I can't imagine what I'm gonna have to do to get traction. I was cutting low 1.9's and high 1.8s spinning the 26x11.50x16 ETs. I guess the CalTrac traction bars go back on and I get the Detroit Street locker for the next trip.
I got an opportunity to put some faces to names as well...got to meet FastZ71, 1999stepside and Ewogo. Nice meeting you all and I hope to see you guys at the next meet...

Damn, that's kick ***. How about you hooking a tow strap to my truck to help me go faster.
What are your window settings on the gas? When is the stage two going on ?

Fast 4.8:
No window switches here Nitrous is on at full throttle during converter flash (somewhere around 4500-4600 rpm on the N2O.) I get no wheel hop just wheel spin
The direct-port stage II will be part of the Heads and cam install...lokking like 1 month maybe 3 weeks...
really slow truck:
Thanks...I'm hoping to drop a full second off each time but will be happy with .8's
I have some video but need to find a host...

Hey Richard. If you already have the video converted, email it to me, I have a host for you, at least temporarily. I am sure everyone wants to watch.
Did any of the other guys race? I haven't seen any results from them.

Awesome times Richard! Stage two heads and cam and your ride will be getting scary fast
Damn, just when I thought I was going to catch you for a day or so, you go and lift the bar way above my head. Again, great run and I know you have only just begun.
Looks like you still have a lot of ET to gain from the 60 ft. alone. I know I couldn`t survive without traction bars. May have to scrap the ET streets and step up to ET drags(manly tires) and a progresive controler on the spray. Also, have you tried running without the front sway bar yet? Sure helps that front lift. I am sure you have considered all this but just throwing it in for others to read.

gotta keep movin' the bar
Traction is the next obstacle...I'm shooting for 1.65-1.70 60ft with stock weight so some tinkering with suspension will be the garage project over the next few weeks. I'll have to put the CalTracs on and see what happens. The Caltracs didn't seem to effect wheel hop as I have not experienced any at the track before(too much ). The CalTracs really load up the spring and the ride is pretty harsh on the street.
As far as removing the front bar goes I already have Hals at "0" in the front with some shock extenders and modified bumpstops. I top out the suspension off the line ever launch (the video shows this pretty well.)
My big problem is still the burnout...The G80 locker works great for radials but disengages after 20-25 mph and only one tire heats well. It probably won't happen for a few months but 4:10's and a Detroit Street locker are in the battle plan.
After the H/C and direct-port I will be replacing front clip body panels for weight savings...looks like the hood and fenders are first.
I wish I could find an appropriate size 16" ET drag.
