Default New 65E Trans and PI TC, more mod's to come....

After going through 5 factory 65E transmissions, I broke down and got a new trans and TC.

I got my new Max Evil 65E built trans and PI TC from Speed Inc. last week.

Wow what a difference....Snaps through all the gears and 120 never felt so good so quick @ 1/2 throttle...I can’t wait to open her up....

She's going next week to try out a new LS2 Intake/TB combo....and add a little N20.....

I wish I had a AWD dyno close to the Chicago area....I'd like to see what kind of #'s she's putting down....

Richard, my old dyno #'s (Radix) were done with the front driveshaft out and a stock transmission that was on its last leg....

It's the new PI 10.5" three disk...Similar to TurbochargedBerserker TC...

DEFINATELY let us know how easy the intake/tb swap was, and if there was a noticible difference.

Cool stuff.

What were the warning signs, if any, with the old trannies?

I'm worried because my 2nd gear upshift slides in with no TM. Adding some TM back, tightens it up.

One of the forum member has helped me out alot with the LS2 Intake/TB. Thanks Richard.....

The truck goes in on Wed. I'll post a blow by blow as progress is being made........

Trans....3 out of the 5 times it started to the long shifts from 1st into 2nd. I also had an issue where it did not want to shift into 2nd at all......

The other two times it just went bomb.....

Please take lots of pics and maybe do a small writeup on anything you had to mod, or how you had to change your tune. I think that it would be a great help.
