Call them it find out the info you need. Heck drive there for a custom tune.
Sure.......drive there for maybe 30 hp or less.
Right.
I just want to know what people are seeing as HP & TQ gains that have their tunes.
What are the prices with it shipped to your door.

I couldent tell you about HP gains because I got his tune for my STS, not by-it-self.
The price is right close to five hundred dollars, I think. Go to his site or call for all the price info.
I'm sure some one in here can answer your HP TQ questions.

Especially a custom burnt program.

Thanks,

Jim
Tell me something? Where are you getting the Vortech High Output Emblem? I freakin' work for a GM Service Dealer...and I can't find the Part Number to order the blasted things. I call GMSPO and they act as if I'm crazy and these are ficticious emblems that are put on Ghost Trucks. I would love a part nuber or any kind of ordering info.

I would like to know rwhp gains, not advertised gains.
Also gains on a relatively stock VHO. Like: CAI, Exhaust, and the tune.
Oh yeah, what does it cost for their tunes?? Shipped to you and all.

Jim
I went to my local industrial tire shop, which has a ProDyno Vehicle Speed Calibrator, whis is a fancy name for a "cheaper, smaller rear wheel dyno"....I had my NelsonPerformance PCM installed and driven for a couple of weeks and added 706 miles, so the "learn-mode" was seated in it's groove....and my 03 GMC Z71 RC pulled down 371 Horsepower. Being as how this SpeedCalibrator/Rear Wheel Dyno is a cheaper one...it does not display Rear Wheel Horses....just Net Horsepower. The cool thing is, because it is used primarily for calibrating speedometers....I was able to get actual Torque Delivered to Rear Wheels reading! Keep in mind...GM posts that, stock my truck is 285HP w/ capabilities of 349Ft.Lbs of Torque (although stock, it would never deliver more that 319 Ft.Lbs) . On the Dyno....with 371 Net HP....it dropped down 388 Ft. Lbs. of Torque! Keep in mind, I have also modified a few more things on my truck, to go with that. But Allens tune is responsible for no less than 25 HP..to the wheels. And a bunch of freakin' added torque to the pavement. His tune is also responsible of my truck pulling 3 lengths on my buddies "Mass Modified-Heavy Tuned" 2002 F20 Powerstroke Diesel!!!! Who could always take me in the Quarter before! Now...it's all GMC...not diesel smoke. Plus....Hemi Rams....no match now....

I've done it, and love it. My truck runs ALOT better than it did with the whipple electronics. I did have to upgrade the PCM to an '02.

Well there was a guy at the track that only gained 16hp from an MTI tune and allen has dyno charts showing that a 5.3 i believe gained over 30hp and 30 tq it also depends on the mods if a vho has FI then 30 hp from a tune isnt hard at all but getting that from a stock truck is much more tricky. I would get nelson any day i love mine and he is a great guy to work with.
