Question Nelson Tune??

Now tell me something guys. Will the Nelson tune be able to be taken out and put back to stock? I have a warranty on my truck (5yr/ 100,000mi). If I have an engine or tranny problem, they will not cover it if there is another program other than stock in the computer.
Especially a custom burnt program.

Thanks,

Jim

I think if they were looking for it they might be able to see it. I think they would have to suspect something first to look. If anything they would just reflash the pcm at the dealership. The only way to keep the stock tune would be to keep the original PCM and not use it as your core. The core charge is 125 think. So you would have to add it to the cost of the tune. I would get Allens tune he does a awesome job.

Yep, pay the core charge and swap out if a trip to the dealer is needed. Even if they did not find the custom program they could reflash the 'puter for some type of upgrade and wipe out the custom stuff.

they will not be able to find it unless they have hptuners themselves. if they reflash it call allen and tell him and he will send another pcm to replace that one.

Ok, what are real world gains from a Nelson tune or an Allen tune??
I would like to know rwhp gains, not advertised gains.
Also gains on a relatively stock VHO. Like: CAI, Exhaust, and the tune.
Oh yeah, what does it cost for their tunes?? Shipped to you and all.

Jim
