Default Nelson Tune ????

The only mods I have so far is Corsa cat back, Volant..I am waiting for delivery. I am getting a trans go w/ vette servo should be in by the end of august.

The question is, with the nelson tune, would deletion of 100% TM be alright with what I will have on the truck? Or would 80% be better. Also I will be getting tt3000 stall. The radix will be in about a year from now$$$$$$. I am just trying to make sure I dont kill the tranny to quickly.

What kind of gains should I see.

Also should I wait until I finish installing the above mods to get a nelson tune?

i would install the mods first then get the tune, but i'd also put a shift kit in there and then have him take out the tm.

i would go with 80% tqm delete without a shift kit. 100% delete with a shift kit.

I have 80% removed on mine. Allen has tuned many trucks that way without problems. What I noticed going from 50% to 80% is how the power band stays strong going out of one gear into another. I don't take mine to the strip and launch it hard anyway, I just pick on what would appear to be stock vehicles on the road. I love to mess with Mustang GT's on the interstate at high speeds. Going through 1st and 2nd gear is lots more fun with 80% removal. With the 50% removal I could not make tire noise on a hard launch. Now the tires talk to me. But for what the Michelin Cross Treeains cost me, I don't do it. She winds up to shifting RPM faster too.
