I added the 2005 fans and the the Nelson harness on my 2005 1500 HD over a year ago. I had to modify the high speed fan wiring on the harness to make it work with the pcm pin 33. The pcm now controls both low and high fans with no voltage surge just like the factory ones and have had no problems yet. It is a good quality item I have been happy with.
