Default Stainless works 4wd header.

Work with stock y pipe with no mods?

Does this header system work with the stock y pipe with out anymods? also how many lbs of torque do i add to the bolts that go into the head? do i need a torque wrench? a lift? i want to get some by mid summer if they work i can start saving up.

Get the headers with the high flow cats. I don't think the headers will just bolt up to the y pipe without some modification.

The headers alone will not bolt in since they're long tubes, but as wkdivr mentioned, the whole system with catted y-pipe will bolt in to the factory cat-back exhaust. You can click on my cardomain link in my sig to see some pics of the SW system I have on my truck.

You can just buy their y pipe. It will all bolt together. The stock y pipe is pretty restrictive. WHen it merges into the single 3 inch they actually bend square tubing and crimp it considerably. I didn't know that until I unbolted from the collector and looked in their.
