Default Neeeed answers!

Ok so I detroyed the G80 the other day thanks to nitrous. So It's getting built this week, and my plans are as follows:

ARP bearing cap stud kit, Detroit unit (trutrac or locker...not sure yet), 4.30 or 4.56 gears, and possibly axles depending on the state of mine.

So, I don't dd this truck, it's not full race though. I only put about 2000 miles a year on from spring to winter. My future plans are an iron LS1, worked heads (11 to 1 cr or so), 228/230 .59x/.59x 110 cam, forged everything, tbss intake NW 90mm tb, maybe keep the juice. I have circle-d 278mm converter right now, so I figure with 4.30-4.56 gears and getting the stall loosened as much as it can be (maybe 3400-3600) I'll be fine with that cam? I need experienced advice pelase!

p.s. I've searched for 3 weeks now and can't seem to find threads that help too much.

Your first problem will be that the converter you have wont go any bigger. I would recommend you to buy atleast a 3600 converter and make sure you tell whomever you get it from how much you are spraying.
