I've heard a T1 and a B1 cam in local cars, and they do seem to cam pretty good in an LS1. I'm sure they'd hit hard in a 4.8!

I was thinking TR220--wonder if the TR224 would be too big? It hits pretty hard in my LS1, so I'm sure it would sound like a demon in that 4.8.

I kinda sorta wish that I still had the little 4.8 every now and then. I really wanted to shut people up and show them that the "little motor" could make good power too. C'mon, let's see some N/A 13's man!

www.thunderracing.com edit:hitman you beat me to it.
they got a good package too.
your choice of cam with comp918s/pushrods/gaskets for $629.

i wanna grab the TR224. after seeing that article in CHP where the truck intake actually does fairly well with larger cams, it seems like it might be the right thing to do if you dont feel like swapping to an LS6 manifold to gain that extra power. different motor different setups. but idk. i wanted to go big anyways. gives me more reason to do it. anyone have any opinions on this idea? (bigtex, where are you )
