anybody got any suggestions on a cam that would sound mean as hell in the ol'4.8L
just curious as to what you would suggest.
and how much HP would I look at getting?

I was thinking with a good stall, and good amount of spray.. a tr220 on a 114lsa

I think the 112 LSA would sound wicked, but would be harder to tune for. Also, on nitrous a wider LSA is preffered. I would also like to know of the 220/220 cam would be a good 4.8 cam.

A 220/220 should have real nice thump to it and about a 7000rpm redline in a 4.8.I say go fur it.

well I wont be running nitrous and this was why I was thinking about the 220/220
seems to me to be a good cam for the 4.8L
and I also have faith in allen that he can tune for it

I suggest a classic T1 cam. 221/221 112 .558 This was so popular a few years back, they sell used pretty cheap now.

i second the T1 thats what im runnin and i am so happy with it and the 112lsa really wasnt as hard to tune as i thought it took me about 2 days to get it runnin the way i wanted it to and thats with thes tock TQ

The T1's, B1's idle WICKED. Run some searches, you're sure to find a clip somewhere. I think they're bigger than what they're rated for. Not like, advertised duration wise, but cam-doctored-wise...

I'm loosing sleep over which cam to get. There are way too many choices.
