Question Need a fuel pump..Inline or In the Tank?

Well, the Whipple at 10 PSI is demanding more fuel. The stock fuel pump just can't keep up. My question is this: should I replace the in-tank stock unit with something bigger or just add an inline pump? Either way, can someone recommend a specific pump or setup? Just looking for help on this. Thanks!

It would be easier to add the inline to your truck.

walbro gss340m is just what you need, i think most places sell that pump. i got mine from speed inc. it is an inline and will hold at least 9psi and a 75shot on a 6.0 or about 600rwhp. it is only like $120 or so but you will need to get a relay, fuse holder and some wire to get it wired up.

So this just goes in the fuel line outside the tank then. You don't have to do anything else after you install it other than hook the pump up to the battery right?

Mine is located next to the fuel filter on the frame rail.

Step 130 shows a pic of a good location.

BlownChevy - Thanks for the link. That is where I would have to put it; now I can see a way to do it.

Parish - That Walbro was what I had in mind. You don't happen to have a schematic of the wiring do you? Or does the Walbro come with instructions on how to wire, but the parts need to be purchased separately?

Thanks for the help!
