Default need electric fans info

Would the electric fan setup from a newer truck bolt right up in my 2000 yukon and what would be the best way to wire it up?

Not unless you have the 34" radiator and one easy way to wire it up would be to buy a harness from DLH2006 or Nelson and get your pcm activated to run the fans. The other wiring options are to run them on a manual switch or get a controller.

If you don't have a 34" radiator then it would be easier to get some ls1 fans out of an f-body and use them. They are usually cheaper too.

Thanks I just moved to Phoenix from Detroit and down here that clutch fan is constantly running. It's killing my gas mileage and power. I need to do something, $100.00 a week on gas ain't working for me.

BTW is there anything else I can do to my truck to get better gas mileage and get a little power back at the same time in this heat? My truck is completely stock right now.

If you do not want to buy used LS1 fans, then the 27" flex-a-lites are a direct replacement. Look for model numbers 292 and 298. The 292 is a stand alone model. The 298 reuires a controller, beit the pcm or separate controller.

I would go with the LS1 fans because of the price. They will Def. keep your engine cool and they are easy to install.
I had a set for sale with a harness but that sold VERY quickly. You can find the fans at a junk yard or on ebay. LS1 or LT1 fans will work great.

I think I do if the 34" is how wide the actual fins are. The overall width is obviously bigger than 34". What do you go by?

Yup, just measure the core width without the tanks. If you've got 34" there then you're set to go with the bigger fans.
