Default How to get air pockets out of coolant

I flushed my coolant a couple of weeks ago and it keeps overheating. I tried to purge the system serveral times but I can't seem to get all of the air out. How the hell do you get the air out of the system. Please help wanted. Thanks Jared

usually you can just sit and let it run untile the thermostat opens, then it should get most of the air out, if not try pumping the uper radiator hose twords the beginning before it gets too hot...

Disconnect top radiator hose from radiator and fill thru hose, this will get 99% of air out from the start.

I did that to the upper hose. I just can't figure it out. I replaced my thermo, and temp sensor with no luck. It is wierd cause when my gauge says it is 230 and I am driving I can swerve the truck back and forth and the gauge will go from 195 to 230 degrees. So It has got to be air in there.
