I'm about to build a lq4 with flat top pistons(basically an LQ9) and wanted to post on here and ask around to see what can I do to make 500-600hp N/A with a 6500 rpm redline. Stroker kit? Cam lift, dur, lsa? Bore over?

Any specific stroker kits in mind? Engine is going into a gmt800 Tahoe, plan on swapping out of the Tahoe and into an extended cab/stepside cateye in the far future. Mainly daily drive the truck but will race, and have fun with it every now and then.

4" stroke is most likely what he's saying, he's got a 408

Yea, a 408 is perfect for what you want. I DD mine for work and play with it also. Mine has K1 crank and rods with diamond pistons specially designed for a stroker. Go on summits web site and start looking and asking questions.

Hey guys have couple questions I have a 2006 z71 4 door with a lq4 6.0 5364 heads ls3 and new body intake with xlink 1 7/8 headers 230/238 tsp cam 620 615 running a 4c stall with 4.56 gears and a under pully from summit heads are .30 cut built tranny 4L65 I wanna go with Holley hi ram is the new body intake better than the hi ram being my truck so heavy or would it work better want a hi ram or the carbon fiber ptr but don’t wanna spend the money if ain’t gonna help at all
