More tranny questions
I'm having trouble justifying swapping a stock 4L80E in when it will cost about the same as a fully built 60E.
I like the gearing, lighter weight, and less HP loss of the 60E. For my setup, I think it will be fine. For those that might not remember--I have a TR 224-cammed LS1 swap, and plan on running 100-150 shot and will more than likely race the truck quite a bit at the track.
What kinds of things should I look for in a hi-po 4L60E? Any particular companies that I should look for/avoid?
Am I making a mistake?
