hmm, my alternator only uses two wires in a 4 wire plug, maybe its an 05 thing, if thats the case, I may just need the plug for this to work for me....

Naked, why don't you let me borrow that alternator for a couple of years?

I installed the tranny temp gauge in my cluster. Possible with the Tahoe unit?

From Page 32 of that PDF file I linked to, it looks as if there is a blank spot where a stock tranny temp gauge might go - just like where other guys (you?) have put aftermarket 2 1/16" gauges. So it could work. I still do not have a part number for this cluster, however.

I still have some feelers out on this wiring issue. On my stock alternator, I have a 4-pin connector with three of those pins populated by wires. If all three wires need to be hooked up, I may have to get rid of this 160A alternator.

Not an aftermarket gauge. Bought a kit and soldered the actual OEM gauge to the cluster PCB. Factory look install. If there is a blank spot I bet this kit will also install in this cluster.
