Default exhaust question

I have a 99 silverado ext cab short box and i am thinking of putting on dual exhaust. I want a nice deep sound. my cousin has a 98 camaro z28 and he has a slp loudmouth catback system. would my silverado sound like his camaro if i put 2 of of the shotgun resonators on. or what other mufflers do you recommend for a nice deep, not raspy sound.

2 SLP resonator's and i think 1 with no cats dumped is damn loud, 2 would sound very very loud! Oh btw 1 SLP shotgun resonator with no cats is kinda raspy, it gets raspy during shifts

I have teh 4x9x11 Magnaflow, and love it. It kinda has that badass Fbody sound to it IMO.

I give up. Mine is simply going to be 2.5 mandrel bends meeting at a flow collector that opens to 3.5 and then straight to a 3.5" magnaflow race muffler, should flow really well, but will probably be damn loud.

I would recommend the dynomax bullet. There is a deep sound, sounds mean as hell and would be extremely cheap. (like $30-35) I have them and I am very pleased. Anyways, good luck man.

stock cats, no mufflers with straight pipe sounds damn good on 5.3's 3 in. all the way back is the way I would go, possibility of losing a little performance being so open but it sounds really good. A deep mellow sound the isnt raspy at all.
