I wouldnt mess with that combo they are selling. Those rockers look like Harland Sharps Next the 6L heads that you have a rpetty good already you can get them milled for more compression if oyu want, those cams are too small also IMO.

Holy **** Batman !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been looking for a good project vehicle and never even thought about a Z...I've got a buddy that has been trying to GIVE me a Z for over a year now and I've been telling him no because I couldn't find a purpose behind owning it.

Screw twin turbos on my truck.....I'm gonna twin turbo an LS1 in a Z-car !!!!!!!!!!

Make sure its a Z and not a ZX the ZX's wont work for the v8 swap.

Theres one of the newer v8TTZ's, theres also a carbed TTZ guy using pretty crappy turbos and I think hes close or in the 9's now.

Keep in mind that I pull my front drive shaft to dyno so the numbers may be a little lower than they actually are.

That combo was good for high 13's in the 1/4 at a weight of 5460lbs with the stock 20's and AWD.
For some reason, these numbers seem a little low to me. I know there are some full bolt on 4.8's runnin 300 +/- RWHP and 5.3's runnin 340 +/-. Only expecting to pick up 10+/- RWHP from a 5.3 to a 6.0 just doesnt seem right to me for some reason. I was thinking they would be good for 370-385 with a good combo, tune etc and they run a little higher compression at 10.08 to 1 as well which is good for NA but bad for FI

He's AWD, there aren't many dynos that accept our wheelbase size and dyno all 4 wheels. So like he said he pulled the front drive shaft to get an idea of what it can pull. The numbers aren't 100% accurate that way but he new that ahead of time and probably just was looking for a ball park #.

Nice numbers.
Did you just send in your 317s to TSP and they ported/polished them or did you buy a pair already done?
How much?

I dropped off a set I already had. It ended up costing about 800 after p&p, valve job and larger valves.
