Don't get me wrong, I'm always up for more power. On the other hand, if I'm dragging 8k lbs behind me, people will just have to deal with it. I had no trouble staying out of the way in the mountains and that was the most important thing to me. I didn't want to be the guy doing 30 mph in the truck lane and getting passed by the tractor trailers while I was towing through the mountains. That wasn't the case. Everything else I can live with, these trucks tow pretty well overall.
I'm thinking of a cold air kit (as much for fuel mileage as performance) and possibly a mild tune. I don't want to have issues with detonation when pulling lots of weight up an 8% grade, so I am a bit reluctant to tune it right now.
