are you doing any tuning to your truck? with just the meth and carefull tuning i am sure you would gain some power. you should be able to add some timing at least.

how much timing are you seeing now?

my reported iat's went from 140+ down to 80deg, 80deg is ambiant so it droped the temps all the way to ambiant. my iat sensor is about 12" past the nozzle.

so far with the single nozzle i would estimate my fuel octane equlivent to be at least 101octane. i have ran from 95octane mixes up to strait 118octane so i have a little feel for what diferent fuels will do. i have not found the limit of this meth and i think i am not flowing all that much considering how much my overall fuel needs are so the 101octane comparison is a minimum. i hope to get crazy with the meth and push it much harder.

Meth will allow you to run more boost (optimum) or more timing at the same boost (which still gives you more power).

Meth is very effective as a chemical intercooler -- not as effective as straight water for cooling, but adds octane which helps combat KR).

Some setups are progressive and some are not. A progressive kit is variable -- starts off with a low charge and injects more as the boost rises. I know Alky Control is progressive, and the base STS kit didn't used to be. I'm not sure about Snow?

Snow has basic kits and a progressive system. He uses nylon hose which Im not crazy about and is only about $100 cheaper if that if you compare his progressive to Julio's. Julio lives right by me and I made the mistake of not going with his kit since I didnt really pay much attention to the differences until things started biting me in the ***. Im probably going to just fork over the cash and chalk it up to a learning expereince and pick up one of Julio's kits myself. His progressive controllers are also much better than Snow's although Matt (Snow) is a very standup guy and does his best to take care of his customers.
