Did you remember to attach the fuel line bracket after installing the trans?

Yes and also the extremely hard to access trans vent tube bracket on the top bellhousing bolt.

Maybe you could use a chassis ear (microphone) to find out where the noise is coming from.

Swapped the trans & converter the racket went away.
Both are being shipped back to the builders for a refresh.

i swapped my neighbor's alternator today. that also solved her problem.

OEM that came in the truck works perfect but can't have much fun... with fuel prices as they are and with the PWM lockup circuit (disabled on performabuilt) it's a lot better on fuel.
