Default 65ish MPH to 130MPH cammed 5.3L

Need a converter very bad LOL. Tune needs adjusting also its a little on the conservative side.

Just a reference point video to look back on before I install a higher stalling converter.

I chose that speed to start from as it is kinda a dead spot with the current converter. Going to be much much better with a new converter.

Shooting for 12.9x 1/4th mile or 8.2x 1/8th mile as my goal (sea level dragstrip) with new converter. Might be a little bit before I get the converter and installed though, but hopefully soon.

Obviously it would of been much better from 20-30mph to 130mph. Its hard to record all this with barely 1 hand on the wheel. A lot of these trucks fall off their face at 100mph.

Going with a CircleD, I have talked to him a time or 2. I can't afford the multidisk right now, I know that converter would get me very well where I want to be. I might just save up until I can get the multi disk. We talked about a Tweaked 278mm and it would probably get me spot on where I wanted to be 12.9x-13.0. I haven't fully decided yet.

My heavy Avalanche accelerates faster than that...

Sounds sweet though, what exhaust are you running?

Edit* See exhaust in your sig

Getting in the 12's would be extremely fast. Do you plan on other mods? What gears are in it? It looks like you go into OD when you let off. If that's the case lower gears would help a lot.

I'm still on the stock converter lol, after getting a higher stalling converter it will solve any problems. As you can see in the video when I took off the rpm's were below 2000rpm's Probably 1900rpm or less and this is a dead spot especially on the stock converter with my cam. The cam doesn't make any power until 3000Rpm or so.

Converter will shave a half a second off my time.

On the top end the shift extensions will help out a lot too.

Still running 3.42's, I never changed gears bc I thought about going turbo later on down the road.

Converter alone will shave half a second off my times, even more if I decide to go bigger converter.

Not really wanting to do any head work/ new heads either right now, want to see what it can do with converter first. After that I might do a couple more mods.

At the local dragstrip everybody runs good times because of the altitude or lack of lol.

Ill probably do Servo and shift kit though.

Why do you need a triple disk?
