here's a weird one for you guys, will the March performance LS1 serpentine kit work on a 5.3?

I don't think so. Those idler pulleys on the pass. side are arranged to accomodate the Corvette A/C comp. location - up high by the valve covers. Your 5.3 has the A/C down low and it looks like the belts would be rubbing with it down low. Also (I could be wrong on this) I believe that Corvettes and F-bodys have a shorter water pump which puts the belt closer to the motor, and all of the accessory pulleys and idler pulleys are also closer. You would obviously be getting new accessory and idler pulleys, but the water pump and the A/C comp. may not line up with them.

Also, pulley alignment would be off as well. LS1 accessory pullies are closer to the block than truck acc. pullies. Nothing will line up properly...

Check API...they have a truck kit. Not cheap tho! R/
