Cool magnaflow

i just installed the magnaflow pn 12588 single inlet 3 inch and dual outlet 2.5 magnaflow.it is a big body muffler and sounds clean from a around town driving but once i stomp the gas it sounds mean and roars.i have the lpp lt's setup with no cats so it sounds great for me.(worse)

you say it sounds like a piece when cruising, are you talking about when dod kicks in? the dod makes a weird pulsing sound. if thats what it is then i'd go with the biggest magnaflow you could find for keeping it quiet. i have a 24" long one just dumped, and you can definitely tell its there, it has a low tone to it at idle and cruising, no interior drone, but at wot it has a nice growl to it, and its still straight through for the best flow.

I have the same magnaflow too and love it, you can usually get a used one on ebay or cragislist. I wanted a valid warranty so I got it here. Magnaflow 35140B. Also some of the forum sponsors usually have a sale going on. Either way its a great exhaust system, sounds great, and very easy to install.

I love the way my Magnaflow sounds. I have this setup modified to fit my regular cab short bed. Nice and quiet when cruising but sounds mean at WOT. I don't have headers yet but I think it will only sound better when I do. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=all&id=1690
