DOD is Displacement On Demand - it turns off some of the cylinders when you don't need them in order to save fuel.

Okay, thanks for the info. I don't have that so I don't think about it much except when talking to people about what's different between an automatic and stick shift 2010 Camaro. Man, there sure are a lot of abbreviations on here to learn and keep straight, lol.
